I want to help parents and children who are in trouble. I was a defiant teenager myself and I understand the rough journey towards autonomy. I rebelled against an autocratic father; I broke the law and traveled the world. At 15 I hitchhiked in Europe. By the time I was 22 I was living in Tchad, Africa speaking French.

I have taught English in different countries; I let my life speak following the Quaker faith; I volunteer in prison with a program called Alternatives to Violence.
